Jared Gonder
Graduate Fellow
Ph.D. Candidate, Chemistry
Jared is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemistry, where he is advised by Prof. Neil Tomson. His research focuses on developing molecular systems for the catalytic fixation of dinitrogen, using machine learning-guided optimization and electronic structure calculations to elucidate new mechanistically-relevant structure-function relationships. Jared graduated from the University of Michigan in 2023 with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in East European Studies.
