Jorge Castaño Valencia

Jorge is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemistry where he works under the supervision of Prof. Andrew F. Zahrt. His research focuses on the optimization of chemical reactions by data-driven solvent engineering. Jorge received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and master’s degree in organic chemistry from Universidad del Valle (Santiago de Cali, Colombia).
