William is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemistry, working with Prof. Robert Carpick from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. His work is focused on understanding the fundamentals of mechanochemistry in different organic systems with an ultimate goal of development in mechanochemical reactors which will reduce the need of harmful solvents and lead to more energy efficient chemical production. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from Regis University in 2022.
